The International Pharmaceutical Aerosol Consortium on Regulation and Science (“IPAC-RS”) is pleased to announce that Andy Dundon, Head, Device Engineering, GlaxoSmithKline, has been awarded the 2013 IPAC-RS Chair’s Award for his outstanding contributions to IPAC-RS. The Chair’s Award is presented annually by the current IPAC-RS Chair to recognize the extraordinary contributions to the Consortium by an individual member of IPAC-RS.
The 2013 Chair’s Award was presented on 16 October 2013 to Andy Dundon by Stefan Leiner, Ph.D., CMC Expert, Quality & Records Management, Boehringer Ingelheim (current IPAC-RS Chair) and Sue Holmes, M.S., Director, CMC Regulatory Affairs, GlaxoSmithKline (current IPAC-RS Vice Chair). Andy serves as the Chair of the Device Working Group and has demonstrated exceptional dedication and leadership for activities related to device change management and design for manufacture. Andy has also been a primary contributor to regulatory comments and general Working Group activities during his tenure as a Working Group member.
